He was predeceased by: his parents, Wanda Kauffman (Andersen) and Donald "Don" Kauffman. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Larsen; his children, Ian Kauffman (Katie) of Minneapolis, MN, Emma Kauffman and Aynsley Kauffman of Madison, WI; his brother Craig Kauffman (Robin) of Kansas City, MO; and his sibling's children, Wade Kauffman (Alex) of Bentonville, AK, Lauren Camunez (Alex) of Dallas, TX, Sarah Kauffman and Grace Kauffman of Kansas City, MO.
A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dow City Cemetery (1838 Lincoln Hwy, Dow City, IA 51528). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Patrick Parish Center (312 S 3rd St, Dunlap, IA 51529).
