He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Colnes of Ames; his children, Julie Halfpop (Cary) of Des Moines, Janelle Jacobsen of Des Moines and Corey Jacobsen (Kim) of Dows; his grandchildren, Trey Halfpop, Brady Halfpop, Kelby Halfpop, Ben Jacobsen (Frances), Matthew Jacobsen and Caleb Jacobsen; his great grandchildren, Theo Halfpop, Tru Halfpop and Scarlett Jacobsen; his sister Shirley Zaiger (Marvin); and his sister-in-law Cathleen Richards. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
