He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Hansen and Esther Hansen (Kreitlow); his sister Maxine Weir; and his nephew Jerry Weir. He is survived by: his wife Janet Hansen of Alexander; his children, Jeff Hansen (Theresa), Jay Hansen (Jerry Jones), Jim Hansen (Barbara) and Jackie Mays (Michael); his grandchildren, Brett (Ariel), Melissa, Sarah (John), Megan (Brian), Aaron (Amanda), Collin (Lindsey), Elizabeth and Emily; his great grandchildren, Kaylyn, Kohen, Kora and Kolbie; his nieces, Judy Johnson and Jeanette Wenzel; his close friends, Todd and Vicki Livingston; and also, Cayla and Nathan of Frankenmuth, Michigan..
