He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Denger and Mavis Denger of Dows, Iowa.; his son David Michael; his brother Edward; and his brother-in-law David John (Lori).

He is survived by: his wife Karen Ann Polson; his son Timothy (Heather); his daughter-in-law Karen D.; his grandchildren, Mikeely, Jack, Sydney, Brooklyn and Kaytlyn; and his brothers, Chuck (Kelly) and Mike. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as many dear friends.

Memorials may be directed to Hidden Acres Christian Center or the direction of the family.
