He was predeceased by: his parents, Kyle "Dude" Johnson and Doris Marie Warth Johnson; his siblings, Linda Kay Johnson and Ambrose Rod Johnson; and his brother-in-law Tom Hull.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Johnson; his children, Daryl Johnson (Tammy) of Topeka, Bert Johnson (Suzy) of Kirksville, Matt Geiger (April) of Burlington, Casey Johnson (Megan) of Bloomfield and Travis Brent (Julie) of Burlington; and his siblings, Doyle Johnson (Elaine) of Burlington, Vicki Hull of Burlington and Jane Eslami of Burlington. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
