It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann McClain of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on September 17, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ann McClain to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Raymond Schmerbach and Gertrude Schmerbach (Winders); her children, Ron "Jonesy" McClain (Chris), Lori Weig (Dennis) of Dubuque and Carol Foht (Larry) of Benton, WI.; her siblings, Buster (MaryJane), David (Penny), Rosie (Tex) and Mary; her siblings-in-law, Sally, Roberta, Betty and Mick; her close friend Jackie Larkin; her husband Wayne; her children, Jerry and Kathy (Brian); her siblings, Shirley, Marilyn (Mac), Bobby, Kenny and Skip; and her brother-in-law Ron Walters. She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 22nd 2023 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory (2595 Rockdale Rd, Dubuque, IA 52003). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 22nd 2023 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, an Ann McClain Memorial Fund has been established.
