She was predeceased by: her parents, George Allen and Rosalind Allen (Morris); her son Brian John Schildgen; and her granddaughter Rose Marie Krepfle. She is survived by: her sons, Allen Schildgen (Eileen) of Warwick, NY and Daniel Krepfle (Jodi) of Hilton Head Island, SC; her grandchildren, Jacob Schildgen (Kari), Haley Schildgen, Emily Krepfle, Lance Krepfle and Megan Krepfle; her sister Patricia Kielty (Michael) of Peosta; her nephews, John and Jason Kielty; and her niece Jennifer. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory (3860 Asbury Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Stead Family Children's Hospital.
