She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Pfab and Regina Pfab (Kurt); her husband Vincent "Benny" Martensen; her siblings, Ernest, Rev. Cletus (SJ), Irvin, Rev Martin, Edmund, Clarence, Henry Pfab, Lucy Stokesberry (Daniel), Julie Little (John) and Charlotte Pfab; and her sisters-in-law, Madonna Beck, Sr., Elizabeth Mausser and Catherine Pfab.
She is survived by: her children, Van Martensen (Kathy) of North Liberty, Myron Martensen (Marlys) of Warsaw, MO, Jill Brammer (Vance) of Gravois Mills, MO, Todd Martensen (Stephanie) of Rolla, MO, Gina Callahan (Joe) of Dubuque and Keri Martensen (Doug Pipho) of Cedar Falls; her sister Caroline Koppes (Don); and her siblings-in-law, Ann Pfab, Sr., Rose, Jane Cigrand, Penny Pfab and Morgan Martensen (Ruth). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren: 18 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Dubuque, Stonehill Care Center or the Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens.
