He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Rieck and Esther Rieck (Corson); his brother Clarke Rieck; and his nephew Dustin Hesse. He is survived by: his wife Carol Rieck of Dubuque; his stepchildren, Amy Daniels of Lombard, IL and Travis Daniels of Dubuque; his grandchildren, Riley and Grant Ruen; his siblings, Kathy Hesse (Norman) of Bristow, VA, Becky Wagner of Dubuque and David Rieck of Dubuque; and his pet Molly. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name.
