He is survived by: his wife Annabelle Schaal of Dubuque; and his children, Bruce Schaal Jr. (Gina) of Dubuque, Wade Schaal (Kym) of California, Lisa Wallace (Dennis) of Dubuque and Rhonda Gassman (Kirk) of Dubuque. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
