He is survived by: his wife Dorine Rettenmeier of Dubuque, IA; his sons, Loras Mauer of Balltown, IA, Bill Mauer (Judy) of Dubuque, IA and Mark Mauer (Kelly Bleggi) of Palm Beach, FL; his siblings, Felton of Dubuque, IA, Tim Mauer (Joanne) of Dubuque, IA and Diane Hetzler (Harold) of Grays Lake, IL; his sister-in-law Janet Entringer of Dubuque, IA; and his parents-in-law, Ronnie Rettenmeier, Bill Rettenmeier (Bev), Linda Kelly (Mike) and Eileen Rettenmeier.
