With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Ann Smart of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on December 1, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Peebles and Grace Peebles (Perkins); her husband Robert L. Smart; and her brother Wayne Peebles (Eileen). She is survived by: her children, Stacey S. Tittle (Cindy Henkel) of Dubuque, Steven L. Smart (Ubonwan) of Chon Buri, Thailand and Michael D. Smart (Timothea) of Helena, MT; her nephew Kevin Peebles; her cousin Kathryn Daugherty; and also, Bob, Kelly, Allison (James) and Adam Curtis.
In lieu of flowers or plants memorials may be made to The Dubuque Humane Society, Hospice of Dubuque or Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
