She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathias Martin and Anna Mae Hoffmann (Gourley); and her siblings, Herbert Hoffmann and Joan "Peaches" Stover. She is survived by: her sons, Brian Carpenter (Jolene) of Dubuque and Bill Carpenter (Molly) of Peosta; her grandchildren, Kayla Carpenter, Jonathan Carpenter, Anna Kane, Matthew Carpenter, Jennifer Carpenter, Billy Carpenter, Michelle Carpenter and Brock Carpenter; her sister Debbie Krug (Dave); her sister-in-law Judy Hoffmann; and her nieces and nephews, Rob Hoffmann (Tootie), Nathan Hoffmann, Nick Krug, Natalie Weirda (Shane) and Rebecca Stover.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory (3860 Asbury Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Parish - Sacred Heart (2215 windsor Ave, Dubuque, IA 52001).
A memorial has been established for Power of Prayer in Carole's name.
