She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis "Scoop" Jochum and Leona Jochum (Maiers); her husband David P. Thul; her son David; and her son-in-law Wally McLaughlin.
She is survived by: her children, Nicholas Thul, Cindy McLaughlin, Lisa Remick-Thul (Stacy) and Tracy Connolly (Patrick); her grandchildren, Ryan Kraft, Amy Meisenburg, Angie Gantenbein (Jake) and Molly McLaughlin; her great grandchildren, Carson (Kamilah), Cameron, Chloe, Cooper Meisenburg, Finley Gantenbein, Jude, Blaire Grissom, Macklyn Connolly and Oakley Mae Connolly; her great great grandchild Charlie Meisenburg; her in-laws, Donna Jochum, DeeLee Jochum and Dean Thul; her siblings, Kenneth Neely (Caroline), Mary Fransen (Bill), Jeanne Meyer (Jerry), Bob Jochum (Lynn), Dorothy Reed (Lyle), Patricia Schumacher (David), Leone Reed (Bay), Joan Wagner, Wayne Jochum and Gary Jochum (Donnie Jochum); her in-laws, Hugo, Marie Thul (Nickl), Mildred, Melvin Thiltgen, Patrica Thul, Dale and Sharon Thul; and her siblings' children, Donna Fransen, Billy Fransen, Dan Schumacher, Bob Wagner, Becky Wagner, Michael Neely and David Neely.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory (2595 Rockdale Rd, Dubuque, IA 52003). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
