He is survived by: his wife Linda Buelow of Dubuque, IA; his children, Michelle Bahr (Brian) of Dubuque, IA, Tonya Ansel (Ben Boyle), Wondai, Andrew Ansel of Washington, D. C., Jeremy Ansel (Laura) of North Port, FL and Nicholas "Skip" Ansel (DeDe) of Dubuque, IA; his grandchildren, Trenton, Isabelle, Lucas, Charlotte and Everett; his siblings, Sheila Sharkey of Dubuque, IA, Steve Ansel (Carol) of Colorado Springs, CO, Nancy Leslein of Dubuque, IA and Kevin Ansel (Stephanie Niedert) of Waverly, IA; and his in-laws, Barb Green (Mel) of Dubuque, IA, David Buelow of Dubuque, IA, Al Buelow (Geri) of Asbury, IA, Doris Buelow of Tioga, LA and Dan Tuegel of Dubuque, IA.
