It is with sadness that the passing of Cheryl J. (Shook) Hayes of Dubuque, Iowa is shared. Cheryl, born on July 26, 1952, passed away on July 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd James Shook and Ellen Lucille Shook (Allen); her son Matthew Wayne Hayes; her grandson Daniel Hayes; and her siblings, Lavonne, Robert and Jacqueline.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Hayes; and her children, Tracey Hayes, Aaron Hayes (Tammy) and Jesse Hayes (Nicole). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and dear friends.
A memorial fund has been established in Cheryl's memory.
