Chuck left this world on July 15, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Butcher and Sarah Akes Butcher; his in-laws, Don and Shirley Torrey; his sister Bonnie Gloeckner; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Feller and Peggy Hallahan.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Torrey of Mary's Church; his children, Aaron Butcher (Abigail) of Dubuque and Alicia Ellerbeck (Alex) of Asbury; his grandchildren, Adeline, Alice, Zenner and Zealand; his siblings, Jim Butcher (Norma), Jack Butcher (Joan), Mary Lou Palmer, Patty Feller and Debra Osterkamp; and his brothers-in-law, Allen Gloeckner, Bill Hallahan and Mike Torrey (Krista). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory (3860 Asbury Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002).
