He was predeceased by: his father Eldie Wilwert; his father-in-law Jerry Lehman; his grandson Cooper Wilwert; and his grandparents, Matt, Alma Wilwert, Charles and Bessie Martelle.
He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Wilwert; his wife Janelle; his sons, Chad Wilwert (Carrie), Jeremy Bickett (Kerry) and Brandon Dirksen (Kristen); his grandchildren, Colby, Corbyn Wilwert, Morgan, Issac Bickett, Mia and Max Dirksen; his siblings, Todd Wilwert (Jena), Dane Wilwert (Lynette) and Wendy Wilwert; his mother-in-law Janet Lehman; his sister-in-law Jenny Sweeney (Tom); and his pets, Elsa, Wunder and Nova. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research in Clay's memory.
