He is survived by: his mother Carol L. Fessler; his great-niece Willa Hook; his children, Cheyne Sharkey (Jennifer) and Codi Sharkey; his siblings, Chuck Sharkey III (Jeanette), C. J. "Clint" Sharkey (Tina), Cathy Grutz (Jerry), Cara McAuliffe (Jerry), Cherrie Sharkey, Carrie Wong (Derek) and Colleen Schreiber (Matt); his pets, Jimmi and Jack; his kitty Kitty; and his pet Lenny. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Leonard Funeral Home and Crematory (2595 Rockdale Rd, Dubuque, IA 52003). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
