He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert C. Nederhoff and Katharina "Alice" Nederhoff (Neessen); his former wife Shirley Nederhoff; his sister Lois Larson (Seth); and his brother-in-law Derold Mehmen.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Nederhoff of Galena, IL; his children, Lisa Viertel (David) of Dubuque, IA, Bradley Nederhoff (Gerilyn) of Waltham, MA and Brian Nederhoff (Shari) of McKinney, TX; his stepchildren, Andria Schaul (David) of Asbury, IA and Kenneth Martin (Shannon); his sister Betty Mehmen of Hastings, NE.; and his caregivers, Jan, Marcia and Chris. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Behr Funeral Home (1491 Main St, Dubuque, IA 52001). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Luke's United Methodist Church (1199 Main St, Dubuque, IA 52001).
