He was predeceased by: his father Carl Ernst; his brother Gary; his siblings-in-law, Carol Ernst, Tom and Janet Noel; his nephews, Billy VanderMeulen and Chris Noel; Alice (Rahe) and Carl Noel.
He is survived by: his mother Olivia Ernst (Ambrosy); his wife Carla Noel; his daughters, Dawn Sabin (Joe), Lynn Kidwell (Nathan) and Laura Castelline (Ryan); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Michael, Brenden, Hunter, Daniel, Adam, Lucy and Alice; his siblings, Elaine VanderMeulen (Bill), Diane Kotz (Len), Steve Ernst (Gale) and Carla Ernst; and his brothers-in-law, Dave Noel, Gary Noel (Kathy) and Mike Noel (Lisa). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Wycliffe Bible Translators - MBR-Zapotec TdV Translation Project (ID: M803406) in Dale's memory.
