With sadness, we share the passing of Daniel S. Tressel of Dubuque, Iowa. Daniel, born on September 17, 1957, passed away on September 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Tressel and Joan Tressel (Halverson); and his sister-in-law Dellane Tressel. He is survived by: his wife Jane Tressel; his daughters, Jessica Tressel (T. J. Rawson) of Dubuque and Melissa Reynolds (Justin) of East Dubuque, IL; his grandchildren, Liz Reynolds (Dominic Smith), Jayden Reynolds, Alayna Boleyn, Aurora Boleyn and Odin Rawson; and his siblings, Mark Tressel (Cheryl), Tom Tressel (Julie), Steve Tressel, Kathy Mullen, Rose LoBianco (Dan) and Mike Tressel (Connie Francis).
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory (3860 Asbury Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (1870 St Ambrose St, Dubuque, IA 52001).
A memorial has been established to Hospice of Dubuque.
