He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Ennis and Rosella Ennis (Henry); and his siblings, Richard, William Ennis, Rosemary Hohman, Judith Thurm, Darlene Dossey and Jeanie Ennis.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Ennis of Asbury; his sons, Kirk Ennis (Julie) of Dandridge, TN, Keith Ennis (Ellen) of Raleigh, NC, Kelly Ennis (Etsuko) of Kamuela, HI and Kris Ennis (Mishelle) of Dubuque; his stepson Jonathan Meyers of Fort Myers, FL; and his grandchildren, Kyle, Jesse, Christian, Joe, Trevor, Shoma and Thoma. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for the American Legion Post #6.
