He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Braunreiter of Crandon, WI, Deborah Roling (Dennis) of Hazel Green, WI and Dena Grutz (Bill) of Platteville, WI; his grandchildren, Missy Keen (Nick), Angela Abitz, Justin Roling (Anna), Jake Roling (Tiffany), Charles Braunreiter (Alisha), Carrie Shimkus (Brian), Jeffrey Braunreiter (Stefanie), Jesse Grutz (Kelli) and Joy Swan (Lucas); his great grandchildren, Brandon, Caleb, Abbey Keen, Dylan, Jada Abitz, Jonah, Carsyn, Cooper Roling, Hayden, Brennen, Brogen, Olivia, Chloe Braunreiter, Carter, Dawson Shimkus, Ava, Vera, Nora, Ella Grutz, Gavin, Aliah and Payton Swan; his wife Eileen; his sons, Dayle, Douglas and Dominic; and his siblings, Wayne, Lee, Howard Jewett and Wanda Luebke.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (10204 Key W Dr, Dubuque, IA 52003). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
