She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Ertel and Cecelia Ertel (Walz); her husband Leo O'Neill; her daughter Eileen Meyer; her sons-in-law, Steve Howard and Bryan Kershner; her grandson-in-law Rob McKernan; her siblings, Verna Fralick and Patrick Ertel; and her siblings-in-law, Elaine O'Neill, Carilee Salwolke, Floyd Fralick, Albert Ertz, Bill O'Neill, Bob O'Neill and Jim O'Neill.
She is survived by: her children, Rick O'Neill of Dubuque, Mary Kershner of Denver, Peggy Howard of Dubuque, Terry "Darby" O'Neill (Nancy) of Aurora, Jane Vilbrandt (Dave) of Janeville and Kevin O'Neill (Kathy) of Kirkland; her grandchildren, Heather Jungblut (Bobby), Katie Mottet (Eric), Wendy McKernan (Wes Peterson), Lisa Donarski (Nick), Scott Howard (Tessa), Patrick Meyer, Jennifer Meyer, Sara Meyer, Scott Vilbrandt (Ashley), Mark Vilbrandt (Angela), Kevin Vilbrandt (Carla), Brady O'Neill (Brittney), Brian O'Neill (Sammy), Megan Empson, Molly Parker (Ben), Katie Heinzerling (Cory), Jamie Smith (Connor), Rachel Nilsson (Matt) and Corey O'Neill (Celia); her sister Phyllis Ertz; her sister-in-law Ruth Ertel; John Meyer of Dubuque, Iowa.. She is also survived by 34 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.
