She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Walech and Helen Walech (Berwick); her husband Louis Murphy of Anthony's Catholic Church; her grandson Chuck Kueter; her siblings, Marie Hansel, Leo Walech and Victoria Fisher; and her in-laws, Virgil Murphy (Alvina) and Duane Brooning (Eileen).
She is survived by: her children, Janice Kueter (Bill) of Durango, IA, Patrick Murphy of Dubuque, Thomas Murphy of Lafarge, Mary Murphy of Dubuque and Ann Curtis (Alan) of Westport, Connecticut.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of the Nativity (1225 Alta Vista St, Dubuque, IA 52001). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
