He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudy Loeffelholz and Mabel Loeffelholz (Kaiser); his father-in-law Leonard Hartung; his siblings, Howard Loeffelholz and Mary Ann Koltes; and his sister-in-law Donna Wittstock.
He is survived by: his sons, Rick (Kylie), John (Emina) and Ben (Kate); his grandchildren, Ty, Emmie, Mila, Ellie and Frankie; his wife Sandi K. Hartung; his mother-in-law Rose Hartung; his siblings, Jeanette Henkels (Joe) and Jerry Loeffelholz (Pat); and his in-laws, Barb Loeffelholz, Gary Koltes, Dave Wittstock, Judy Nivarel, Nancy Glab (Mike), Al Hartung (Linda), Mark Hartung (Sue) and Cherie Waller (Don). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the DCSD Pool starting blocks project.
