With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fay E McCauley of Dubuque, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smith and Myrtle Smith (Reuschel); her husband Frank McCauley; her parents-in-law, Sylvester and Bernice McCauley; her siblings, Marge Lane (Ade), Ruth Klumb (Ralph), Sally Voels (Bob) and Mike McCauley (JoAnn); and her siblings' children, Roger Klumb, Greg Lane, Wendy Lane and Barb Pettitt.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Dykema (Greg) of Geneseo, IL, Kathy Ireland (Wade) of Fairfax, IA, Terry McCauley (Taunya Kepple) of Marion, IA and Lisa Arenholz (Dan) of Blue Grass; her grandchildren, Nick Ireland (Angie), Matt Ireland (Maggie), Tony Ireland (Sara), Jared Ireland (Danielle Macaro), Alyx Dykema, Sydney Serrano (Daniel), Lindsay Ireland (Jerod Staton), Brittany McCauley, Dylan and Jada Arenholz; and her great grandchildren, Grace, Maddie, Addy, James, Frank, Oscar, Gloria Ireland, Ryleigh, Kamryn Serrano and Everett Ireland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
