Frank Hermsen Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest "Butch" Hermsen and Alma Hermsen (Hannasch); his in-laws, Joe and Dorothy Schon; and his brother-in-law Duane Schon.

He is survived by: his wife Cleone L. Schon of Dubuque; his daughters, Lisa Hermsen (Richard Newman) of Rochester, NY, Tricia Windschitl (Paul) of Iowa City, IA and Mary Ridgeway (Robert) of Dubuque; his grandchildren, Calvin Windschitl, Elke Windschitl and Kyle Ridgeway; his sisters, Bettie Bolar (Steve) of Marshalltown, IA and Donita Hermsen (Kristy Lynch) of Coralville, IA; his siblings-in-law, Joleen Conrad (Roger) of Manilla, IA, Lorraine Pettit of Decorah, IA and Michael Flanagan of Council Bluffs, IA; and his nephews, Zach Bolar and Luke Bolar.

He coached girls' Little League Softball for 17 years, served as Board President for Holy Spirit School, President of the Kuemper Catholic High School Parents Club and he was a Speak Up Leader through RSVP.
