She was predeceased by: her parents, John Trace and Mary Trace (Steffens); her husband Robert "Bob" Houselog; her son-in-law Jeff Hines; her siblings, Leo, Bob (Sharon), Ed (Catherine), Gene, Bill, Richard Trace, Gen, Rita Millard (Dallas), Virginia Trace and Elaine Rundle (Jerry); and her siblings-in-law, Butch, Lois, Joe, Helen, Betty, Ronnie, Edna, Gerald, Joan, Wayne, Merl, Jane Houselog, Mary, Art Balk, Bernice, John Donahue, Jean Smith and Jim Duerst.
She is survived by: her children, Ken (Amy) and Janet; her granddaughters, Shannon Veach (Jake) of Cascade, Stacey Hines (Jon Kluck) of Dubuque, Ashley Thul (Mark) of Norman, OK and Courtney Houselog of Cedar Rapids; her great grandchildren, Colby, Corey, Cooper Veach, Matthew, Ethan, Alexandra Kluck, Hayden, Jason and Mia Thul; her sisters, Aletha Duerst and Joanne Brunner (John); and her sisters-in-law, Aggie Trace, Theresa Houselog and Carol Potterton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
