Schmitt and Nicholas Pfohl; his stepgrandsons, Aaron Osthoff and Tyson Hill; his great grandchild Colten Bisping; his siblings, Robert Pfohl, Audrey Oberfoell (Melvin) and Carol Anthony (Merlin); his parents-in-law, Raymond and Clara Murray (Smith); and his in-laws, Richard Murray (Dorothy), Gerry Murray and Mary Anne Stickley (Galen).
He is survived by: his wife Janet Healey (Murray); his children, Debbie Osthoff (Gary) of Dubuque, Cindy Hill (Ron) of Maquoketa, James Healey of Dubuque, Kathy Berns (Dave) of Cedar Falls, John Pfohl (Judy) of Dubuque, Michael Pfohl (Nicena) of Sherrill and Thomas Pfohl (Marilyn) of Dubuque, IA; and his in-laws, Alan Murray of Cedar Rapids, Mike Murray (Jill) of Cedar Rapids, Shirley Barger (Dennis) of Cedar Rapids and Pat Hefel (Dave) of Sherrill. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and Godchildren.
A memorial has been established for Dubuque County Right to Life.
