He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Mays of Dubuque; his sons, Kevin M. Mays of Denver, CO., James D. Mays (Shannon) of Denver, CO. and Elliott L. Mays of Marathon, WI.; and his siblings, Dennis Mays (JoAnne), Tim Mays (Annette), Donna Neal (Jerry) and Karla Keller (Merideth). He is also survived by five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
