With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Menadue of Dubuque, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on December 29, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Menadue and Gladys Menadue (Sawvel); his wife Sharon A. Donath; his son Kevin Menadue; and his siblings, Shirley, Richard "Dickie", Jacqueline "Squeaky" and Sharon.
He is survived by: his sons, Jay Menadue (Andrea) of Cumming, GA and Patrick Menadue (Michelle) of Sun Prairie, WI; his daughter-in-law Natalie Menadue of Auburn, GA; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Catherine, Zeb, Kevin, Michael Anthony, Michael Joseph, Lucas and Mason; and his siblings, Charles, Thomas, Patricia and Vickie.
In lieu of plants and flowers, the family requests that memorials be given in James' name to the Veterans Freedom Center.
