He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Jungk and Margaret "Marce" Jungk (Zuber); his wife Betty Jane Jungk (Abing); his brother George D. Glynn; his sister-in-law Norma Glynn; and his friends, Tom Casey, Al Gieseman, Dale Launspach, Toby O'Brien, Robert and Gladys Fury.

He is survived by: his daughter Linda Farni (Paul "Buck") of Durango; his granddaughter Julie Farni (Paul Menster); his great grandchildren, Quinn, Kaleigha, Addison and Keegan Spahn; and his great great grandchildren, Zion and Damien.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hope Church (11893 John F Kennedy Rd, Dubuque, IA 52001). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.

The family requests no flowers. All memorials may be made to the Betty & Jim Jungk Memorial Fund.
