She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlin Bjerke and Dolores Bjerke (Duenser); and her aunts, Eunice Gabriel (Wayne) and Marcella "Toodie" Bjerke.

A committal service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at 2735 Windsor Ave, Dubuque, IA 52001.

All memorials will be given to the Grant County Humane Society.
