She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Althaus and Celestine Althaus (Manders); her spouse Dean Boyes; and her sisters-in-law, Lois Potter (Dan) and Roxy Boyes.
She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Boyes (Jeanne) and Kenny Boyes (Sandy Temperley); her grandchildren, Allison Tringale (Dan), Jaclyn Dambeck (Jack), Brooke Temperley and Brenda Wilde; her great grandchildren, Xander Tringale, Mikaylah, Eizabellah, Marques, Jennacee and Hadlee; her siblings, Donna Daily, LeRoy Althaus (Dorothy) and Richard Althaus (Linda); and her siblings-in-law, Gene Boyes and Alice Schueller (Jerry). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a Janet Boyes memorial fund has been established.
