She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathias "Matt" Ernzen and Ethel Ernzen (Lang). She is survived by: her husband Cortney D. Vance, Sr.; her children, Cheryl Flaskerud (Rod), Susan Hinz (Dave), Cortney D. Vance, Jr. (Carol) and Douglas Vance (Sara); and her brother Ron Ernzen. She is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for St. John's Episcopal Church and the Finley Hospital Volunteers.
