She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Meyer (Chief) and Florence Meyer (Messing); her husband Frank J. Schwartz; her sons, James Schwartz and Ronald Schwartz; her siblings, Pearl Buckley (Howard), Leroy Meyer (Rosie), James Meyer (Ginny) and Bill Meyer; and her grandchildren, Kara Schwartz and Samuel Schwartz.

She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Schwartz (Renee), Thomas Schwartz (Rennee), David Schwartz (Ellen), Russell Schwartz (Angel), Stanley Schwartz, Joseph Schwartz (Jill) and Edward Schwartz (Melissa); her grandchildren, Julie Oeth (Cory), Jodi Grieshop, Jill Boge (Matt), Derek Schwartz (Courtney), Michael Schwartz (Sara), Codi Smidt (Matt), Lee Schwartz (Emily), Andrew Schwartz (Kaci), Jennifer Theisen (Pete), Ben Schwartz (Shanda), Katie Travis (Cam) and Alex Schwartz; her sister Betty Callahan (Tony); and her sister-in-law Shirley Meyer. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory (3860 Asbury Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Parish - Sacred Heart (2215 windsor Ave, Dubuque, IA 52001).
