We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2026, at the age of 98, Jeanne E. Ries of Dubuque, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Broadrick and Josephine Broadrick (Waldorf); her husband Arthur Ries; and her brothers, Paul, Tom and Bill Broadrick.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Armstrong (Ron) of Dubuque, IA, Thomas Ries (Dana) of Iowa City, IA and Joellyn Schawl (Kenneth) of Avondale, AZ; and her sister Bernadette Roberts of Camanche, IA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Pape Funeral Home (2308 Pershing Blvd, Clinton, IA 52732). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
