She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Carter and DeEtta Carter; her siblings, John Carter and Karan Piper (Ray); and her brother-in-law Phil Christensen.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Havertape of Dubuque, IA; her sons, Matt Havertape (Sue) of Dubuque, IA and Brad Havertape (Claire) of Livingston, MT; her grandchildren, Ian Havertape, Clare Havertape and Lexi Clark; her siblings, Jean Christensen of Dubuque, IA and Jimmy Carter (Idaine) of Blanchardville, WI; and her sister-in-law Elaine Carter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Patrick’s Church (237 E Main St, Benton, WI 53803). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Patrick's Church Cemetery (237 E Main St, Benton, WI 53803).
