She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kendall and Margaret Kendall (Smith); her husband Robert "Bob" Remakel of Mary's Catholic Church; her son Roger Remakel; her in-laws, Michael and Adella Remakel (Zimmer); her siblings, Marie Oliver (Wayne), Bernice Knoll and James Kendall (Margaret); her in-laws, Vincent Remakel, Mary Ann Miller (Wayne) and Patricia Lawler; her godson Kevin Lawler; and her niece Karen Pins.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Remakel (Beth) of Dubuque, Tina Allen (Jim) of Bellevue, Tammy Remakel-Ryan (Stan) of Dubuque and Teresa Biroschik (Mark Heiderscheit) of Dubuque; her grandchildren, Sarah Henkels (Dan), Chad Remakel (Bethany), Robyn Illingworth (James), Brent Hutchcroft, Brady Hutchcroft, Joshua Ryan, Emily Ryan, Caleb Biroschik (Megan) and Alexandria "Ally" Young (Evan); her great grandchildren, Kylie Sahm (Spencer), Camden (Michael Husemann), Blake Henkels, Charlee, Dylan, Logan Remakel, Lily, Oakley Biroschik, Jameson Illingworth, Parker Hutchcroft and Harvey Jess; her sister Phyllis Jaeggi (Bill); and her siblings-in-law, Thomas Remakel (Rosemary), Phyllis Remakel and Suzanne Hurst (Lance).
