He is survived by: his wife Tara Renae Edwards; his children, Brady Heuer of Dubuque, Mitchell Heuer of Dubuque and Emily Heuer of Dubuque; his siblings, Becky Ineichen of Blue Grass, IA, Kim Menster (Mike) of Cascade, IA, Bill Heuer (Pam) of Blue Grass, IA, Jim Heuer (Karie) of Maquoketa and Bob Heuer (Brenda) of Preston, IA; and his in-laws, Troy Edwards, Jamie Frost (Terry), Jolene Tracy (Jason) and Jenny Tracy (Ryan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory (3860 Asbury Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
