With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Donahue of Dubuque, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Donahue and Mary Donahue (Cahill); his wife Nancy Kretz of Mary's Catholic Church; his son Shaun; his siblings, Joseph Donahue (Janelle), David Donahue (Sandy), Rita Mitchell, Rosey Kahler (George) and Joan Gatena Donahue; and his brother-in-law Ed Kretz.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Donahue (Dana) of Owatonna, MN, Daniel Donahue of Queen Creek, AZ and Kristine Donahue Probst of Dubuque; his grandchildren, Chantal, Caitlin (Nick), Brittany, Jonathon and Jackson; his great grandchildren, Jay and Brynn; his close friend Rachael Hall of Dubuque; and his in-laws, Peter, Mary Huber (Bob) and Sharon Kretz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
