He is survived by: his wife Nettie Combs; his son Jason Combs of Dubuque; his siblings, Janet Grass, Jolene Petesch, Julie Guglielmotto (Dennis) and Greg Combs; his siblings-in-law, Sally Miller, Jan Miller and Charlie Miller (Marie); and his brother Dennis Van Cleve. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory (3860 Asbury Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
