He is survived by: his nephews, Donald Ley (Carol Boleyn) of Dubuque, Jeff Ley (Barb Cox) of Dubuque, Kenneth Ley (Amy) of Dubuque and Ed Allen of Cottage Grove, WI; his great-nephews, Noah, Jackson, Chris and Travis; and his caregiver Juliette.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
