He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kruser and Stella Kruser (Brandt); his wife Darlene Clough of Mary's Catholic Church; his granddaughter Natasha Fischer; his brothers, Vernon Kruser (Bev), Galen Kruser, Francis Kruser (Norma Jean), Daniel Kruser (Rosie) and Julius Kruser; and his in-laws, Dave Groom, Jane Kruser, Carol Kruser, Jim Kelly (June) and Jim Koeneke (Helen).
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Kruser (Jonathan Morton) of San Diego, CA, Jeff Kruser (Candace) of Dubuque, Michele Fischer (Mark) of Peosta, IA, Connie Droessler (Tony) of Dubuque and Rhonda Kruser of Madison, WI; his siblings, Wayne Kruser (Betty), Mert Kruser, Harvey Kruser (Mary Lou), Randy Kruser, Gary Kruser (Ruth), Bruce Kruser (Donna), Elaine Groom, Bonnie Hammel (Bill) and Karen Van Stedum (Tom); and his sister-in-law Janet Kruser. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for the Dubuque Evening Optimist Club.
