He is survived by: his wife Janet Hendricks; his daughter Kerry Douglas (Scott); his daughter-in-law Laura Gassman; his grandchildren, Seth Godwin, Maranda Peterson (Emily), Chelsea Young and Olivia Moss (Cameron); his siblings, Pat Link, Susan Young and Jim Young; his niece Diane Mahoney (Stacy Young); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Jo Klinkhammer (Jerry), Bob Hendricks (Kathy), Bob Cate and John Walsh. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Dubuque Rescue Mission or Crescent Community Health.
