He is survived by: his significant other Julie; his stepchildren, Joshua Billmeyer of Dubuque, Vania Riedl (Scott) of Galena, Judd Billmeyer (Ashley) of Farley and Alisia Peacock (Jimmy) of Dubuque; his sister Joyce Thompson of California; his niece Jennifer Schmid; and his nephew Nicholas Schmid. He is also survived by eight step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren.
