She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Melvin "Boots" Schmitt and Virginia "Trixie" Schmitt (Ritt); her husband Frank; her daughter Elizabeth "Ellie" Wintermote (Mote) of Dubuque; her granddaughters, Lucy and Violet Wintermote; her siblings, Janice Freiburger of Peosta, Dennis Schmitt (Debbie) of Sherrill and David Schmitt of Sherrill; and her siblings-in-law, Crystal (Leddy) of Sherrill, Mary Ann (Joe Barker) of Dyersville, Agnes Cannon of Manchester, Ann Freiburger of Ankeny, Rose Freiburger of Austin, Texas, Joe Freiburger of Manchester, Tom Freiburger of Manchester and Louis Freiburger (Vicki) of Manchester.
