She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert Blaker McKahin (Blake); her parents, Eldon Edgar Hantelmann and Betty Jane Hantelmann (Duffin); her brother David Hantelmann; and her pets, Tessy, Tally, Lilly, Chrissy, Chloe and Sophie.
She is survived by: her children, Collin McKahin (Tania) of Folsom, CA and Megan McKahin of Dubuque, IA; her granddaughters, Brooke Aston (Nik) of Los Lunas, NM, Alyssa Wells (Colton) of Rocklin, CA and Kelsey McKahin of Albuquerque, NM; her great grandchild Rowan Aston; her siblings, Mary Schneider (Jim) of League City, TX, Mark Hantelmann (Kathy) and Lorie Hantelmann Vogt (Ron) of Dubuque; her nieces and nephews, Emily Shol (John), Matthew Hantelmann, Jack Foley, Seamus Foley and Molly Foley of Dubuque; and her pets, Mimi and Gigi.
